The year 2050 the planet has become overpopulated, to help control population the government develops a race. The Death Race. Annually competitors race across the country scoring points for killing people with their vehicles.

تدور الأحداث عام 2050، حيث يصبح العالم مُكتظ سكانيًا، وللسيطرة على هذا التضخم السكاني تقوم الحكومة بتنظيم سباق يُدعى (سباق الموت)، حيث يتنافس المتسابقين سنويًا في جميع أنحاء البلاد على إحراز النقاط من خلال قتلهم الناس  بواسطة سياراتهم.
